Through appropriate calculations, our engineers identify whether vertical or horizontal loads need to be accounted for through the use of beams. What is Beam Design?
Beam design is the process of calculating a build’s structural design and identifying which areas are in need of support through the addition of beams. Beams are often an integral part of structural engineering as they are created to be able to withstand a large variety of different loads. Beams are thus essential to many builds as they are responsible for allowing a structure to support itself, maintain its integrity and be able to be used with due safety. Beam are able to be produced from a variety of different materials, all of which can be calculated by our expert and in-house team of structural engineers.
